The Square-Victoria-OACI metro station is a favourite spot for photographers and content creators, thanks to its unique aesthetic. Montreal’s only Art Nouveau metro entrance was designed in the early 20th century by Hector Guimard. It is the only original Guimard entrance found outside Paris – all others are reproductions. Initially loaned to the STM by the RATP, the Parisian transit authority made a gift of the structure in honour of the collaboration between French and Québécois engineers on the construction of the Montreal metro.
