La Fanfare Jarry is a collective of Montreal musicians inspired by Balkan brass bands. The group is made up of nine musicians who play brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. They perform a repertoire of traditional Balkan pieces as well as original compositions written by their founder, Charles Duquette.

Duquette studied classical percussion at the Université de Montréal. In his artistic approach, he is also inspired by his experience in contemporary music as well as the many cultures of Park Ex.
