Oscillating gracefully 20 feet above the ground, sway-pole is a new form of aerobatics that defies the laws of physics. A sway-pole is a long, flexible, vibrating pole. Holding onto the pole, the acrobat swings through the air, with various acrobatic and choreographic movements. The pole mesmerizes us by flickering and spinning in all directions, revealing its impressive range! A captivating discipline that fascinates young and old alike.
POLIQUIN-SIMMS²
Since its founding on June 15, 2015, POLIQUIN-SIMMS² has promoted the development and spread of circus and aerial arts in Quebec and internationally through the creation, production and performance of original works. The organization now creates, produces and manages dozens of different projects and shows. Its main projects are the Stomp Quartet, Look-Up Aerial Arts, Cirque KiKasse and Jerry Tremblay.
POLIQUIN-SIMMS² promotes excellence in the circus arts both technically and artistically through innovative ideas that have earned a prominent place in Quebec and world circus. It is always a real pleasure for the organization to be able to perform in front of family and friends "at home" where it all began.
