L’air du temps was created by artist Phillip Adams and produced by MU. The 130m2 mural is one in a series of four murals representing the four classical elements of water, earth, air and fire. It depicts the neighbourhood’s architecture before the construction of Les Habitations Jeanne-Mance in 1958; the artist created a scene that is at once fictitious and hyper-realistic. In the centre of the mural, orange traffic cones are an unmistakeable reference to present-day Montreal.
